This year we will be celebrating our 20-year Anniversary for our business. It has been a great experience. We have enjoyed making people’s dreams come to life.

Growing up my father had his own landscaping business. I opened my own landscape/hardscape business when he retired and named it D. Panetta Contracting, LLC in 1999.

My inspiration came from my father teaching me when I was growing up, and I passed it along to my sons now. When I first started the business it consisted of three employees and my wife, Tammy, in the office. When my sons Ryan and Tanner, and my daughter Briana were younger, they were always in the yard with me on the machines and in the dirt, and they loved it.

I never dreamed of what it is now. My son, Ryan, went to school for landscape architecture. Ryan does our 3D designs for backyard poolscapes/hardscapes. He can show you how your backyard would look before we build it, and it’s amazing. It’s like looking out your window and seeing it come to life.

My son, Tanner, went to school for landscape design and electrical trade. Tanner is our designer and installer for outdoor lighting. When you use outdoor low voltage lights it brings your backyard to life under the stars. It’s very calming and surreal. 

D. Panetta Contracting, LLC has grown so much in the past 20 years. It is truly a family business. With both sons joining the team, bringing their expertise with schooling on landscape/hardscape and my 40 years’ experience in the field, that has made this business what it is today. We never stop learning new techniques and finding new materials to use. We always take classes to keep up on the newest technology.

D. Panetta Contracting, LLC offers the homeowner quality work, good materials, and workmanship to do a job in a timely manner from start to finish. We take pride in seeing our customers satisfied with what we created for their backyard living space. We also do outdoor lighting so they can use their backyard after dark.

I hope we have a great next 20 years and when my boys take over the business, they carry on the tradition of what my father taught me, to work hard, work as if it is our own and to make our customers happy.
