The owners of this nearly 11,000-square-foot custom beachfront home had dreams of a traditional shingle-style house for entertaining family and friends. At the same time, they desired a relaxing, informal atmosphere and planned to infuse a feeling of playfulness with creative finish selections. Some of the home’s highlights include a cabana, pool, fire pit, pergolas and covered porches. Interior architecture features an open floor plan concept with traditional spaces defined by millwork as opposed to walls. The lower level has guest suites and recreation space, and family bedrooms below the roof and within dormers.
