The owners of this Stone Harbor townhome wanted to create a getaway that could be enjoyed with their two children year-round. The inspiration was a casual New Jersey coastal vibe with sophisticated influences from Palm Beach. They wanted durable products that could withstand small children and guests, as well as color and comfort. Designer Maria Toczylowski worked with natural elements inspired by the bay view. In the bedroom she kept the old furniture and used grass- cloth wallpaper, a new area rug, bedding and accessories for a fresh look. A favorite spot is the sitting area adjacent to the fireplace. The final look is an easy to maintain home that still packs plenty of stylish charm.
