A New Look for Less
A New Look for Less

These days, it seems like every neighbor is having their kitchen remodeled. You may hear about walls getting knocked down, plumbing  getting rerouted and how the kitchen is completely unusable for weeks. But this doesn’t have to be the only way to bring a fresh look to your kitchen.

Cabinet refacing is a popular and modern approach to remodeling. Benefits include a quick turnaround—installations can be completed in one week or less—minimal mess, use of the kitchen during the entire process, and with Let’s Face It, homeowners get all of this in addition to over 30 years of highquality design and installation service.

Locally owned and operated by David Cerami, CKBR, Let’s Face It has worked with thousands of homeowners and is nationally recognized as a pioneer in the cabinet refacing industry. Clients appreciate the turnkey operation and fast approach, says Senior Designer Vincent Arduino, who has 30 years of refacing experience—a claim not many people can boast.

“With a complete kitchen remodel, homeowners  have to interview companies, buy a design, obtain permits, get a dumpster, rip out the kitchen, without being able to save a newer floor or countertop. It’s an expensive process. With refacing they already have some prior improvements they want to save and have the bones of a kitchen layout that generally  works. Many clients we meet just installed a new countertop but now the cabinets don’t look quite right,” he says. “Refacing is a cleaner, more organized approach to remodeling and can cost 60 percent less.”

Many people often get confused about what refacing entails. Refacing keeps the existing cabinet boxes, if structurally sound, but replaces the cabinet doors and drawers with a homeowner’s choice of designer quality products. All of Let’s Face It’s factory-finished wood refacing products are locally made and distributed directly out of Pennsylvania Dutch Country.

One point of pride at Let’s Face It is their no-hassle environment. They will never pressure potential customers to buy anything, letting the customer have control of when and how their refacing project takes place. All design consultations are complimentary and homeowners are provided with samples and detailed photographs of the company’s work.

“You can select virtually any kitchen design and/or finish—from a white modern minimalistic Shaker design to a traditional European design  with a dark walnut finish,” Arduino says. “One of my favorites is the naturally beautiful grained native hardwood cherry.”

For those looking for a white or antique white  kitchen, but are concerned about durability and cleanliness, Arduino suggests their 3D laminate (3DL) finish. This is some of the latest technology in cabinet refacing, he says. “3DL is chip resistant and cleans with a mild detergent or simple soap and water. It has a true-wood texture and looks identical to a painted finish.” 3DL comes in modern Shaker, raised panel traditional and the contemporary total flat panel.

The options don’t end at cabinet  refacing. Let’s Face It can make custom alterations and add cabinetry to your kitchen for more storage, as well as install granite and stone countertops; glass, stone and ceramic tile backsplashes; flooring; custom kitchen islands; and task or recessed lighting.

One of Arduino’s favorite design options is adding a breakfast nook with stool height seating to a free-standing island or to a peninsula island. It makes preparing a meal or conversation over coffee more relaxing.

Once your new kitchen is fully completed, Let’s Face It gives it their final stamp of approval. “We fully believe that this state-of-the-art  transformation will stand the test of time. This is why we provide you with a lifetime warranty on both the cabinet refacing materials and labor,” Arduino says.

When all is said and done, clients most appreciate the professionalism of Let’s Face It and their entire team. “I can honestly say that every employee is proud to be a team member of this organization,” Arduino says. “Everyone is committed to excellence and high industry standards. We are more than just a remodeler. Let’s Face It is a unique and modern design firm.” Visit www.LFIKitchens.com.
